- Full set of book-keeping for the Korea branch/subsidiary

- Ensuring accurate and timely book closure monthly
- Posting all journal adjustments and accruals
- Bank & Balance Sheet Reconciliations
- Issuance of Tax Invoices
- Credit evaluation and control
- Credit and Risk Management Evaluation of customers’ financial position (credit check)
- Collection and processing of outstanding Accounts Receivables
- Accurate & Timely Processing of Supplier Invoices and Payments
- VAT Reconciliation and Quarterly VAT Return
- Cash Planning and Hedging for foreign currencies
- Monthly financial and management reporting including forecasts & budgets.
- Fixed asset management
- Liaising with external accounting/tax firm for Year End audit and Corporate Tax Return
- Ensure compliance to Korean GAAP, IFRS and Group Policies
Tasks and Qualifications:
Successful candidates will possess the following qualifications & experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or equivalent
- Local accounting profession qualification will be advantageous
- Minimum 3 years of experience in handling full set of accounts
- Good knowledge of local accounting standards and IFRS
- Experience in ERP Accounting Software is mandatory
- Meticulous and careful with figures
- Hands-on, willing to roll-up sleeves and adaptable to take on additional job responsibilities when required
- Proficient in Microsoft office applications
- A mature and independent individual
- Ability to work autonomously under minimal supervision
- Excellent communication skills
- Highly proficient in spoken and written English and Korean
- Work rights in Korea is mandatory
